STEWARDS

A Steward must have the ability to transact the spiritual and temporal business of the church.   The duties of a Steward would be to make an exact account of all money or provisions collected or others provisions collected for the support of the pastor, establish the salary to be paid to the pastor, provide support and comfort to the needy and distressed, make accurate reports of every expenditure of money, attend the quarterly conference to give advice, if asked, and register all baptisms, marriages, and deaths within the congregation.
